Our Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic

There have been so many challenges in ensuring business sustainability since 2020; one of them was the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak in the early year. Our utmost concern at that moment was how to protect our employees and the communities around our operational areas. We implemented the working-from-home and working-from-office mechanism in rotation for all the employees at the Head Office, which was a new challenge for us who work in the energy industry. The working-from-office or the working-from-project site is carried out only for the essential functions, with strict health protocols.

COVID-19 Responses and Surveillance

  1. Forming a dedicated task force: Emergency Response Team (ERT) for COVID-19. The task force is responsible for managing every Covid-19 case and implements prevention actions.
  2. Create a health monitoring system for all employees, where every employee has to report their health condition periodically.
  3. Publish health protocol guidelines for employees at the Head Office and project sites.
  4. Conduct test for COVID-19 status through a rapid test, swab antigen, and PCR. Shall positive cases are found, contact tracing will be performed.
  5. To refer our confirmed Covid-19 positive to get proper treatment according to the protocols.
  6. Prepare alternative isolation facilities at the corporate group isolation center, health care facility, or other isolation facilities.
  7. Conduct test for COVID-19 status through a rapid test, swab antigen, and PCR for screening, surveillance and case confirmation purpose. Shall positive cases are found, contact tracing will be performed.
  8. Ensure a safe workplace by rearranging the working space during the new normal, including carrying out routine or non-routine disinfection, providing hand sanitizers and masks for employees. Vitamin also provided for the employees who work in the field.

We work closely with various healthcare partners at Head Office and project sites to ensure the COVID-19 control is carried out accordingly; hence won’t be hindered to the productivity of our project. Employee safety, securing business continuity, and supporting community resilience around our operational areas have been our priorities.


Business Continuity


We ensure to provide the best service for clients and remain committed to completing the projects according to the agreed target. Therefore, we form a dedicated task force: The Business Continuity Team (BCT), to work closely with other functions to maintain employee productivity.


  1. Divide employee attendance with work-from-home and work-from-office in a rotation for the employees at Head Office.
  2. Conduct employee activities to motivate and maintain employees engagement and motivation by conducting employee wellness programs such as mental health webinars, employee events, etc.
  3. Ensure the face-to-face meetings and business trips comply with the strict health protocol.
  4. Optimize workspace with health protocol. For instance, arrange distancing and seating based on attendance.
