In 2011, Tripatra was awarded a 5-years EPCC contract for Banyu Urip Project, a partnership project between ExxonMobil and Pertamina for oil production processing facilities development in Bojonegoro, East Java. The facility has been contributing more than 25% of national oil production. The scope included the design, execution, and completion for the central processing facility, which was built logistically central to the three well pads which produced crude oils.
The Banyu Urip Project is located in East Java, consisting of the Central Field Facility (CFF) (which includes the Production Processing Facilities [PPF] and supporting Infrastructure Facilities [IF]), export, storage, and offloading facilities. The development is to produce sour crude and associated gas from multiple wellpads. The crude will be sweetened in a central processing facility and sent via onshore and offshore pipelines to a floating storage and offloading vessel located off the north coast of Java near the city of Tuban. Associated gas and water will be re-injected into the reservoir. Additional fresh water will be injected into the reservoir.
